I’ve been a little quiet on here lately but there’s LOTS going on over on the facebook page! So why not pop over and hit the ‘like’ button so you are getting all the new updates? I would louuuuuuuuve you for it;)
Did you see this one?? It’s the beautiful Fliss and Steve and there’s a little preview album on facebook here. x
Here’s Ollie and Rachel and they are lovey! Not only because they are bringing me to blooming Ireland in May for their wedding but also because they truly enjoyable to be around and fabulous to shoot:)
They came down to Cardiff for me to take their engagement shoot and we chose to do it my little part of town called Rhiwbina. We had coffee in the wonderful Snails Deli and then took a little wander around the village.
I was great to do something not baby-related and its made me even more excited for their wedding in May!
So, its almost time. And we are all very excited! This is the boy and the bump at almost 38 weeks. Never include my self in my photographs but have challenged my self to try harder this year. So here’s the first of hopefully many ‘me and my kids’ and its my very own maternity shoot; of me, by me:)
Its been snowing A LOT here in Cardiff – which is very unusual… so schools have been closed all around and we’ve had to come up with home activities. A big part of today the boy was a Pirate. And i took a lot of photos:)
We are all waiting… and waiting! only two weeks to go now till we’ll be a family of 4 but in the mean time the big boy has started nursery school – and wait for it; he actually loves it! No more teary mornings dropping him off to the private nursery.. now its just fun filled afternoons:) Oh! and then he’s had a haircut, so all in all, a good time to stop and take a few snaps of him before it all changes – again.
yes yes, i know, it’s been more than a while(!) but what better way to get back into the blogging by showing you my last wedding of the year. It’s Jess and Tim, everyone!
Jess and Time got married at St Mary’s Church in the old St Fagans and then had their reception at Pencoed House – a dream of a venue with ton of charm and photo opportunities as well as really friendly staff.
The day was a crisp and bright, late September day and there were a great excitement not alone for the wedding to be but also for the party that would follow:)
as we are off on holiday on Saturday I’m trying to round things up and make sure everything is double backed up – including my personal pictures!
I love taking photos on my iphone4 – and now with Instagram, its even better! I’ve always got my phone on me so its very easy to snap those little moments that would have been lost if you had to wait and get out the big camera:)
When looking at these pictures i feel proud. He’s such a lovely little man. He’s good at lots of things, and he takes pride in what he does. He loves his friends and he loves playing with his toys. He’s got a fantastic imagination and he’s just strait up handsome! Dont get me wrong – he can make me wanna rip my hair out and just sit down and cry, but its all part of it all right? But most of the time I just wanna hold on to him till he says “mummy im stuck!”
Here’s a little round up of April with a few of the shots from the past 4 weeks… stay tuned for the holiday pictures! As Tobias says “we’re going to America on a BIG airplane to see Mickey Mouse – he lives in a castle! and we are gonna see whales, and penguins and cars in a pond (not sure about the last one..!)
For the lovely new followers on my little blog, this is a project i began in January for two reasons; 1. to push my self as a photographer, and 2. to depict a year in my son’s life and his development.
This is week 15 (slightly behind!)
He had a fun play-date with two of his friends – Connie and Dai – at Connies house (he LOVES it there!)
They played football, dug in the mud and found lots of wriggly worms:)
When we got home, our new ground floor doors were finished and I’m loving how you can peek into the room without Tobias noticing you…
This was my first wedding of 2012. And it was a beauty! Amazing people, amazing church, amazing venue. The only thing that was not amazing; was the weather! Hard core rain all. day. long. But Ali and Ben was great and not afraid of getting the wellies and umbrellas out:)
We started with the girls getting ready at a relative’s house in Clifton, Bristol. It was a relaxed morning with the most calm bride I’ve ever seen, and the wonderful Ellie Jones (cardiff) did the girls hair while they got ready.
We then got off to the grand Woodlands Church in Clifton where Ben was waiting. It was a lovely and funny ceremony by Pastor Nigel Savage.
After a few shots at the church it was off across the Somerset country side to the beautiful Coombe Lodge in Bagdon.
We managed a few rainy shots outside but had to make a run for it when turned torrential!
It was such a beautiful day and I’m so grateful for Ali and Ben to have chosen me as their photographer.
I know they’ll have a wonderful life together:)
Here’s a few of the photos from the day while i finish of the rest for them. Hope you’ll like them:)
